    🐾 WORRY STOPS HERE 🐾

THE HEAVY DUTY CAR SEAT COVER FOR ALL DOGS & CARS!

Mud, fur, scratch marks ground into your back seat — along with an uncomfortable ride for your dog the usual? The Guardian is here to solve exactly that! The only downside - you'll wish you bought one sooner.

Here's what nobody prepares you for — the longer you own a dog, the worse your car gets. And every single muddy walk turns into the same sinking feeling. The paw prints, the fur everywhere, the scratches ground into the fabric. You just want to take your dog everywhere without dreading the cleanup. But every time, you end up with:

    x Constant car grooming
x Wanting to leave your dog at home
    x an uncomfortable pup

Take Them Everywhere, Without the Cleanup!

Let your dog be part of every journey without worrying about the mess they leave behind. Whether it’s muddy paws after a walk, shedding fur, or a wet coat on a rainy day, everything stays on the seat cover—not your car seats.

Instead of stressing about cleaning your car after every trip, you simply remove the cover, shake it off or wash it, and you’re ready to go again. It’s designed to take the dirt, so your car doesn’t have to.

The Safest Way for your Dog to travel!

Safety comes first on every journey. The Guardian includes dedicated seat belt buckle openings, allowing you to easily connect a harness seat belt adapter so your dog stays securely restrained throughout the ride. This helps reduce movement, distractions, and roaming while you drive.

It is also recommended that dogs travel in their own designated space with a divider in place, preventing access to the front seats and helping maintain a safer, more controlled driving environment. The Guardian supports this setup by keeping your dog safely contained in their own area of the car.

    Fits almost ANY car!

One size fits any car, folds away nicely! The Guardian Dog Seat Cover keeps your furry friend safe and comfortable while protecting your car from dirt, hair, and scratches. Durable, waterproof, and padded, it stays securely in place and folds away easily when not in use.

The Pup Cloud - made to fit The Guardian!

Add a touch of luxury with the Pup Cloud bed! Designed and made for The Guardian, this super comfortable and stylish bed will turn your back seat into the saunctary that your best friend deserves! Level up your car ride game today!

Set up in just 2 minutes!

Step 1: Place the seat cover on your back seat with the hard bottom facing down.

Step 2: Attach the straps securely around the front and rear headrests.

Step 3: Tuck the seat anchors into the gap between the seat back and the bottom to keep the cover in palce.

Step 4: Smooth out cover, adjust side flaps for full coverage

Step 5: Use the seatbelt openings if needed. You're ready to go!

    Us vs Them

The Guardian isn't cheap - for a reason. Cheap, flimsy hammocks are downright dangerous.

    • Totally reccomend!

Finally found a car seat cover that both Me and the dogs like! I usually travel with two big dogs and either one or two cats when I go out hiking, and there never use to be enough room for them to all be comfortable. This extends the seat and prevents them from slipping off the seat like they used to. It’s sturdy and waterproof, but comfortable for babies. Love the pockets for added storage too. Highly recommend for the value.

    • Our big guy loves it!

It is brand new to us and it seem fantastic. Fits our 2014 Escape perfectly. I like how our dog won’t slip off the seat any more. Looks awesome.

    • The dogs feel super safe!

Great product that arrived on time! I purchased a large, and it fits perfectly in my 2022 Camry. Setup was super easy, and the hard bottom base makes it 100 times better than a basic hammock. I’m so happy I switched to this one. It also comes with a safety leash, which is a nice bonus. I read some reviews about dogs sliding around, but I haven’t had that issue at all. Definitely worth the money!

My 11 year old lab loves it, shes to old to get in the boot, and started getting Very nervous travelling. Now shes right behind me and loves it. Thankyou so much.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Looks great, keeps sand in the back.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

A great addition to our car for two Golden Retrievers! We have a Nissan Qashqai for reference. Easy to fit, easy to wipe down, and easy to adjust for when our kids travel too. My dogs are a bit daft and haven’t quite mastered the best position to travel in, especially going round roundabouts, so the do slide about a bit, but the seatbelts help with that. The base seems strong and it creates a great space for both of my dogs to lie down for naps after their long walks ♥️

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Overall, good quality. Could do with a second storage pocket and zips up the sides of the end flaps to support them.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Excellent quality and customer service when needed.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Easy to install and seems well made. I added a folded packing blanket underneath to help level it out. Gives the dog full use of the backseat space in my Silverado. Have used it for a few weeks and I’m happy with it.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I have three 50lb Bassets in a 2019 Crosstrek and all three fit comfortably and securely in the backseat together with this cover. Before I got this I could only get two of them in the backseat and the third had to go in the cargo space. They prefer to be together so this has saved a lot of whining and crying in the car. So far it’s held up really well and I’m really happy with it. Only con has been that it’s a slippery for them but they manage without complaint.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I absolutely LOVE the lay out very easy to install! Super sturdy holds my 40lb Cane Corso puppy and I even tested it out myself it completly covers the seats for any accidents or car sickness and keeps them safe in the back. It even comes with a seat belt buckle that you feed through the seat belt buckle hole its awesome! The zippers could be better but since there just on the side not a big issue. Over all very pleased with this product!! Highly recommend!!!!

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I’ve bought 4 carriers in the past but this one has been the best since it has the built in platform. My back seat is just 2 captains chairs which is no problem for this to span across the gap. Only annoying part are that the zippers on the side flaps disconnect to fold down so you have to keep re-connecting but overall seems like a good product. Very happy with how easily it folds up and the carrying case is a plus.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

After trying multiple variations of inflatable backseat gap fillers, I settled on this backseat extender. The color and material were perfect considering my interior is black. It fit perfectly in my 2023 Jeep Wrangler and was more the sturdy enough for a 45lb and 85lb dog that will be utilizing it. I also loved the ability to unzip the mesh pass-through (which also allows air to flow to the back if your vehicle has air vents built into the center console) between the front seat. The only complaint and reason for 4/5 stars is that the buckles for the straps that go around the backseat headrests were terrible. They crumbled in my hand with how brittle the plastic is. They broke immediately when I first buckled them. Rather than sending it back, I ordered heavy duty 1 inch replacement buckles (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QBY5W9C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and swapped them out. The clips for the front headrests are metal so no issues there.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Overall I really like this product, it fits well in my 2024 Subaru Forester. The only thing I am not a fan of is how slippery the surface is for the dogs, they slip around quite a bit. It was an easy fix, I took a rubber-bottomed small area rug from Job Lots and cut it to the size of the platform. This helped significantly and the dogs love the wider back seat. It doesn't mention this in the description but the sides zip up which is nice because it contains the doghair! I am ordering these for our other cars as well.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

It was pretty easy to install! Holds my baby(picture) who is 65lbs and his friend who is 45lbs together. The area they stand or sit on is a bit slippery so i recommend a blanket, bed or cover for it! Not bad!

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Love this for my dog. I have captains chairs in the back so I just shoved pillows in between for stability. My dog is 85lbs. The only issue on why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is slippery. I am thinking about putting a rubber mat back there so he doesn't slide. I bought one for my husband for Christmas for his truck.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I love the seat protector. It provides my dog, Chunk a 100 pound pitbull, the full use of the back seat! He is comfortable and the seats are well protected. Even when my dog is wet from the rain, my seats are protected from his wet fur. If I had one complaint, it would be the zippers on the vent flap. I feel they need to be heavier duty. My dog recently was laying on the vent and the zipper just gave and I have to figure out how to fix it. Other than this issue, I am very well pleased with this product and would highly recommend this if you have animals you like to transport.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

First of all, this has not been dog-tested, yet. I did, however, crawl in myself and it held steady, so I am not worried. I drive a Kia Rio, which is a relatively small car. At first, I was skeptical about the size of this platform, but it fits in my car without any trouble. I did not have to adjust the seats forward, either. I purchased this item because I am about to drive 12 hours with two large breed dogs in the back of my car. This gives them double the space and the net hopefully keeps them away from my console. I did not attach the slings on the side pieces, simply because I was afraid that one of my goofballs would step on it and rip the handle from the car. The sides still stay up for the most part, because they attach via zipper (as shown in one of the pictures). We will see how long those will hold up.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

My dog is half Great Pyrenees/ half Mastif. He weighs 155 pounds. I put this in the back seat of my Chevy Equinox for him and then my husband and I went on a road trip to my daughter's house...388 miles away! This was excellent!! He was comfortable and with the floor extension in it, able to move around and lay comfortably. It held up great and I am still using it, over a year later. It is easy to clean and I would recommend highly, especially for bigger dogs!!

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

A perfect fit, protects my seats, and love the extra room that it provides! Not just for the dogs, but groceries and other items as well. Construction seems strong and sturdy, strong stitching, and the clips seem to be high quality.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

This has been great for our 105 lb pup. He slides a little on it on turns, but it isn't a big concern to us. We will update this review after a couple of months of use.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I was skeptical about spending $130 on this. But after my 40lb dog ripped through the $35 alternative, I needed a new one. This one had a hard bottom which will prevent tearing like the cheap one. Fits great in my 2016 Honda Accord sedan

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

It fit great to my rav4 Looks and feels quite well

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

My traditional waterproof seat cover for dogs wasn't working out too well because my sweet idiot boy, Chili, would go down into the footwell and then flip it up when he climbed up, no matter how well I secured it. Decided to go with this one based on the good ratings and it was a great choice! Chili loves being able to stand right behind me if he chooses, and the zip up sides have been great for when he gets really excited sticking his head out the window because it's kept him from slipping off the side of the seat. I love the pockets on it for holding his leash and seat belt clips. When left alone in the car, my anxiety baby boy developed an awful habit of crawling into my driver's side seat, which then evolved into burrowing down into the driver's footwell, which is all cute until you leave the car running for a second to drop something in a box and your car starts revving because your dog has sat on the gas pedal haha! It may not work for more determined dogs, but the zip-up mesh barrier keeps him in the back while still letting him see which is nice. I tried unzipping it on day one, but he found the tiny gap into the footwell and then disappeared down under the cover for the rest of that drive. LOL Based on a couple reviews mentioning how hard the boards in the cover felt, I did also get a bed to go on it, since half the time Chili liked to lay on top of any decorative stuffed animals or pillows I had in the back. It seems to have been the right choice, but your own dog's preferences may vary. It serves a bonus purpose of keeping the rear footwell a lot cooler in the summer, which has been nice for storing things in a hot car during store trips.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I’ve purchased many of these covers through the years and most recently I needed to replace mine after getting a new car. I have an Enclave and the hard bottom is perfect for the captains seats in the second row. I have two German shepherd mixes, one at 93lbs and the other at 78lbs, I just took them on a test drive with the cover and so far so good! I will update my review after our road trip in case I see any sagging or immediate deterioration with use. The fabric is thick and sturdy, and I appreciate that this cover has zippers on the sides to protect my doors, and nice buckles for the head rests. Very worth the price so far!

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I bought this seat extender for my dogs because I have two golden retrievers and if I had to evacuate my area of residence or go on a trip with both dogs, I needed a way to have them both be safe. Normally, my dogs ride in a 36 inch wire crate in the cargo area of my Honda Odyssey Minivan with the 3rd row seats folded down. When I got my second golden retriever, I knew I might need something to keep them safe if both were with me. My car won't fit two 36 inch wire crates in the back cargo area because of the contour of the inside roof. This seems sturdy. It says it can accommodate up to 270lbs. I think the solid bottom is a game changer and makes this seat extender a better option than others. I have an empty cooler in the gap between the two captain's seats and it worked well to "bridge the gap", but even when I crawled into the seat extender, I did not have the cooler there and it felt sturdy. I weigh 145lbs. My golden retrievers are on average, about 70 lbs. each. The only recommendation for improvement I would make is ditch the plastic clip that is on the strap that holds the door protection panels up in place, and replace it with a metal clip. The plastic clip is very tight to try to hook on to the steel D-ring of the door protection panel. Over time, the sun shining inside the window of the minivan, may breakdown the plastic of this clip.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I drive a 2018 toyota camry. It fit very well. It was easy to install. I like the material it's made from. Seems it will be easy to clean. I like that it came with pockets to store items. Don't like. The zippers were not easy to zip. Just when I thought I had them lined up and zipped, they would split from the bottom, and I would have to start over. I took it out of the car and started over thinking if I zipped them first that would be easier, uumm no! I finally got it done, I was pretty frustrated by this time. Other than this I'm happy with the product. I will have my German Shepherd in the car this week. I will update if need.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

It is sturdy enough for my 70lb dog. The bottom slips around some, but my seats are leather so not sure how to prevent that. I’m going to keep it, but wish it wasn’t $109. $60-70ish would be more appropriate.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Worth every thought and every dollar. I was nervous. I have a 45/50 lbs bully and she has THE WORST anxiety riding in a car but loves riding in SUVs. 🐶 was calm, and quiet the entire 40 min car ride, both ways. When I assembled it, I layed in it and it was VERY sturdy. I think she finally feels safe and protected.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

This is a a LIFE SAVER, I felt it was kind of expensive but after putting it in my SUV it's worth it. It's strong and durable, and looks aesthetically pleasing with my seats in my car. I recently got a new vehicle and my dog absolutely hates the captain seats. He can't get comfortable on the floor and he will not sit in the seats because he can't lay down and he slides. He also will not lay in the third row, so I found this cover with a hard bottom to go over the gap of the captain seats and oh my gosh! Everywhere we would go before we got this. My dog would make these crying sounds because he couldn't get comfortable and we are going on a road trip soon and it's 15 hours, this will literally be a lifesaver!!! I chose not to put the sides up because he doesn't need it, so I tucked them underneath and it looks so nice!! I also got a separate mat to go on top of it for comfort and he absolutely loves that too. I would highly recommend this, I also loved that it came with a travel case to fold and put away when we aren't using it!! 10/10

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

We have had this dog seat for over a year and are still very pleased with it. First, it is easy to clean if needed (muddy paws/spilled pup cups). Second, it is very stable for our dog to sit on/lay on unlike some of the other bucket seats we’ve used where he falls in the floor infront of the seat. Third, it fits well in a small, medium, and large SUV. We have not used it in a sedan, but I’m sure it was fit just as well as the straps are adjustable. We like that there are slots for the seatbelts. Folding it up takes only seconds and the bag it comes in helps store it in the back of car when not in use. The only thing to note is that the straps aren’t sewn in for heavy duty use. We’ve had two straps rip off of the main section when our dog laid down, so that could be improved.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Perfect for our 80 lbs Husky Mix. Maximizes his space/comfort in the back seat for everything from short trips to the store, to 20+ hour road trips. No more slipping, falling to the floor when breaking suddenly, or sitting awkwardly half up and half down on the seat/floor. The material is thick and durable, water repellent and easy to clean. The pockets are great for leashes and bowls, water bottles or treats. The zipper panel in the center is great for when we want to restrict his access to the front of the car, and zipping it down halfway can act as a platform for him to lay and rest his head near us but not fully onto the center console. The access to the seat buckle is great for per owners who use safety belts/buckle leashes. And for pets who demand time looking out the window like ours does, the window covers easily fold under the seat extender to allow full access to one or both windows. We like that we can still utilize the space between the extender and the floor of the back seats, for stuff like bags and groceries. It also folds up and can be put into the trunk in about 30 seconds when you have other passengers. Fits our 2012 Honda Pilot and 2014 jeep wrangler unlimited perfectly.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

I was after a cover that created a firm floor for my dog as he’s never really been comfortable in the car. This delivered! It’s nice and sturdy, even for all 30kgs of him. Easy to set up and fold up for passengers. Definitely looks durable. I have an X2 and this just about fits, but needed to pull the front seats forward to get the seat belt clips in place. Other than that, easy peasy. My only qualm is it’s very expensive. But if it stands the test of time I guess it’s money well spent :)

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Fits my 2025 Trail Rav 4 perfect. My dog loves it, and it exceeded my expectations!

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

The clips that hold the seat cover to the head rest have broken There is no way to contact the company so I had to rig something to hold the seat cover I’m place. They must be made of inferior plastic because they broke after being clipped just once. Otherwise, I like the seat cover. It stops my dog from falling into the foot well. Seems to be made well except for these clips.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Great product so far. My only complaint after install was that it's about 6 inches short both directions. My truck is a 2023 Ram crewcab 1500. You can see in the one picture the seat is exposed and it's like that on the other side. Front to back is also shorter than I'd like. Overall it's a great product, the base is very sturdy which was my concern when ordering. Took all of 5 minutes to install and that was walking back and forth a few times.

Customer photo review of The Guardian - Dog Seat Cover

Easy to install and seems well made. I added a folded packing blanket underneath to help level it out. Gives the dog full use of the backseat space in my Silverado. Have used it for a few weeks and I’m happy with it.
